The Susumu Yokota World Listening Tour has already travelled farther, gathered more listeners, and generated more genuine moments than we ever could have imagined. What started as an accompaniment to the reissue project, has become a global celebration - a host of deep-listening gatherings spanning six continents, each one re-affirming the timeless magic of Yokota’s work.

Each venue has brought its own energy. Some nights have revolved around a single album, Others have embraced a multi-album journey, weaving several LPs across an evening, tracing Yokota’s evolution from early tape-loop atmospheres to the shimmering ambient landscapes that proved to be the inspiration for many.
Although each listening environment has been unique, the response everywhere has been wonderful, with an extraordinary mix of attendees, many venues shared that these events have brought in some of their most attentive and engaged audiences to date.
This affirms to us why these reissues matter. Hearing Yokota’s remastered works through world-class systems has unlocked a new appreciation for the depth, detail, and emotion of each album and shown us how deeply Yokota’s music continues to move people - across cultures, generations, and continents.
